Captain Alan was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make our trip memorable.  We are grateful.

Wife, 13yo son and I enjoyed our trip. Started early, caught some striped bass, fluke and blues. Enjoyed talking with Alan and learning about the bay, ocean, Barnaget and LBI history. Learned more about fishing, especially my son. The particular day was extremely foggy so limited us to bay areas.

Captain Al hosted my most enjoyable fishing trip off LBI and one of my most enjoyable ever. I arrived 1/2 hour early and Captain Al was ready to go. Very relaxed, he explained his plan for our outing, all subject to change of course. The winds started out a little strong, but he kept the ride very smooth and we were fishing very quickly. On short notice was able to book a half day with Captain Al. We spoke the day before and he laid out the plan and weather factors.  I was with my two boys 15 and 18 and despite a tough wind and some challenging conditions we got a good number of blues and fluke.  Captain Al was outstanding with the two boys and not only demonstrated patience he was teaching them.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Captain Al, he beat the water up looking for fish the entire time and was a great person to talk... What an amazing trip with Captain Alan!!  Not only did he put us on a ton of fluke, including 3 keepers (plus one monster that got away), but he was so much fun and made me and my sons feel very welcome on his boat.  Great day and looking forward to fishing with him again!!
