Captain Cody did a great job with a crew of 6 first timers. He provided great coching and commentary regarding fish types and fishing style. The kids felt entirely safe and had a wonderful time. The youngest caught the most, the oldest caught the biggest and everyone caught something! We will return to enjoy Straw Hats Fishing Charters and Captain Cody!

This was our second trip with Captain Cody and it was Christmas Eve. There were two of us and we fished hard all day and caught lots of different species. I think we caught eight different in total. Cody fishes really hard and we really enjoy his expertise and how easy he is to get along with. We already have another trip planned for Tarpon season in June!

Captain Cody knows the various areas and the proper baits. We moved to several spots targeting different species.He was helpful explaining the proper techniques for each bait and fish. His gear and boat is in top notch condition. A great day on the water. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an inshore experience.

We had a great day fishing with captain Cody.  Even though the weather was less than ideal (windy and cold), captain Cody had a plan on where best to fish.  Had a great day catching a 31” snook, snapper and lots of Jack between the 4 of us.  He gave us a lot of good fishing info and great conversation.  A really nice day fishing.  Thanks!

We had such an amazing day with captain Cody he was awesome super knowledgeable of the area and shared so much information with us he kept us moving and worked hard to keep us on the fish she was grate with my to young girls teaching them what to do and not do we worked with each of us to help us improve our skills and techniques we had so much fun learning about all the different species we were catching and how best to fish them we will definitely be back to fish with captain Cody again
