- I like to use light tackle. The fisherman gets a more enjoyable time when light tackle fishing. I developed the snap jigging technique and can teach it to you on my charter. It is a highly effective way to catch most game fish.I also have other original techniques for different species, all very effective and fun. If you are into fly fishing, I can accommodate you depending on the time of year. Offshore fishing has us casting poppers and jigs to tuna over trolling.
