Our whole Mexico trip was a bummer till we went fishing for my kids 19th birthday. It changed the whole trajectory of the rest of our vacation. These guys know what they are doing!!

The crew on the reel homer was top notch. Great tunes, great snacks, great refreshments. Caught some fish and they answered any question we had. Our group would book again instantly!

It was a great trip. 6 hours was plenty of time to get all the fishing in we wanted. I asked to do different types of fishing. They were more then willing to do that. The crew was great. They were true professionals. While bottom fishing they were ready to jump in with instructions and assistance if they noticed we needed it. We caught all different types of fish. We even caught a Barracuda which we later used a bait. Plenty of drinks.

Communication leading up to the trip was immediate.  Answered all our ignorant (our first time to the area) questions politely and elaborately.

Boat was generously staffed with an experienced captain and two deckhands.  Although we were out with the family and not seriously fishing all the gear was new and top notch.  Bait was all same day fresh and expertly hooked up before our arrival so no time wasted getting lines in the water.

Had our two young kids (7 & 9) and wife along so after trolling for a few hours the crew gladly pulled the lines and took us to a quintessential Caribbean bay.  The kids were able swim with stingrays and cenotes geysering from the ocean floor.  Good quality snorkling fins and masks provided (although no kid sizes).  After swimming a delicious Wahoo ceviche was laid out….  sooo good!

Unfortunately couldn’t rebook another outing on this trip as they are all booked but will be the first reservation we make on our next visit to the Yucatán!  Highly recommended.

Booked the 8 hour trip for 6 people on the Reel Hooker.  Captain and crew were on the boat with everything ready to go, right on time.  Seas were a bit rough and a few in our group didn’t have much experience on the ocean.  They ended up sea sick, but the Captain was understanding, and took them back to the dock (even though fishing was hot….two nice Mahi Mahi in the first 10 minutes of trolling).  After dropping off three from our group, my wife, 18-year-old son, and I headed back out for an awesome day of fishing.  We caught over 20 Mahi Mahi and ended the day with me landing a nice barracuda!

Crew took great care of us, kept us on the fish and worked their butts off all day.  They had cold water, soda, and beer for us.  They had some great pineapple and jichima for us in the morning, made us sandwiches for lunch, and even prepared fresh ceviche with one of the Mahi Mahi we caught.

Great day.  We had a blast!
