Trip was fun only because captain does what he can with what he’s provided. Four baits for 1300 bucks is a joke.

This charter is joke. Poor and old equipment. Poor and old boats. Not enough equipment to fish. These are some guys with a boat and minimal knowledge. They are unprofessional, and untruthful. And most important, if your party is more than 4 people, they will split you up into little fishing boats, because they cannot handle the volume.

We initially booked on a day they were not available and Captain Tyler begged for us to leave the booking standing as is so it would not hurt his rating on fishingbooker.com. We had no problem with that as he assured us when we did go out 3 days later we would be well taken care of. He would leave all day open for us and when I reached out the day before, we told him what we would like to do. 4 hour trip with dinner to be caught for both nights we would have left for our trip. He kept pressuring us to do longer (more $) because he could not guarantee dinner with such a short trip, so we agreed. Now the time we were to meet the actual captain for our trip kept getting pushed back. Was 2:00, then 2:30, then 3:00 and when we were standing on the dock searching for the captain, after 3:00 he had not arrived yet. Still had his previous customers to unload as well. When we finally were able to come aboard, closer to 3:20 by now, the boat was filthy from the previous trip where his chumbag had exploded everywhere. He did apologize for that. We were told he had been out on the water since about 5 that morning on 2 other guided trips that ended up being scheduled. The thing that was the most upsetting was the fact that he threw his cigarette butts into the ocean. I wouldn’t think a captain who makes a living off of taking people fishing would pollute the ocean and the ocean life. We anchored offshore for a while and caught some fish, but the captain felt we had enough for our 2 dinners so he kept throwing the others back. I was worried it wouldn’t be enough for our 2 nights of dinner and it wasn’t, we still had to supplement with more food after this costly trip. In addition to this, we left a spot that we were getting bites, and catching fish to go back inshore and sit there for a couple of hours with no bites until the sun went down and we finally started getting some bites again. Kept losing whatever was biting and snapping the lines so the captain mentioned he was going to bring us back in, and this would have been well before our time was up considering we left late, but we got a good bite and fought with a shark last minute so we were able to stay. We may have gone over about 15 minutes for what we paid for, only because of that last bite. The captain did filet what we had caught. We did tip him as well. Initially I was going to give a 3 star review. But that got changed to a 1 for reasons not able to be listed. Beware: captain not honest in reply.

I had a terrible experience with this company.  I chartered a boat to go out with my kids out of west palm beach,  The day before, the owner Tyler, tell me that the captain in west palm beach was sick and that they could only go out of deerfied beach. I agreed and he agreed on the 10:30 time.  Later, he call me to tell me that the time was changed to 7:00 am
I told him that tht was not acceptable, I already had made arrangements for 10 30.  He told me that he was going get back to me.  About 30 minutes later, he did , and said that at 2pm,  I said that that was not the time tht we agrreed on.  He inmediately starting insulting me using insult words like Fu….He said that he ws the captain and he would decide when the F….I should go, take it or leave it. He gave the slot of 10:30 to other people that had a flight to catch.  at this time , I very politely asked him to stop insulting me.  It was tok late to cancel, I was not going to dissapoint my kids , so I took the 2 pm boat.  The captain of the boat was very nice, no complaons , but he was alone, there are usully 2 crew members, at least for that price,  I you will use one only, charge less money.  Probably he has no word or saying as he is just employee, but i didnt feel safe.  Many time, he would leave the wheel unatended while the boat was moving to fix fishing gear.  Not worth it , is unsafe and this conpany does it to earn more money, this is terrible.  I never felt more insulted that by this person Tyler.  I hope that no one gets put in that position.  There are so many options and I have use many charters before and after this one.  Never had a bad experience such as this one.  Hope that person Tyler changes his attitude toward clients otherwiise he will be out of business .
