Reel Tight Fishing Charters was re-established in December of 2016. The owner, Matt Fueyo, ran charters for over 20 years inshore and offshore in the Sarasota and surrounding waters. During the 2009 BP oil spill, he left the industry and joined the Army. After completing a tour overseas, he returned to Sarasota to pursue his lifelong passion. Matt has years of running private yachts for high-profile owners which is reflected in his level of professionalism and cleanliness in his charter boat company. Even though Blue Marlin is his favorite fish to catch, Snook and Tarpon still give him the adrenaline-pumping action that made him fall in love with sport fishing. Lots of snappers and a ton of short groupers but we will try to catch the big ones for the dinner table!
