- Captain Ray was born and raised on Long Island, NY. From a very young age, his father taught him to love and respect the ocean. Family trips revolved around fishing. Free time was spent trading tackle in his garage with his brother and cousins. Weekly fishing trips were always a competition of who could catch the most fish. To this day Captain Ray has a passion for fishing. For the last 10+ years, Captain Ray has been fishing the waters out of San Diego and has a deep passion for Tuna fishing. - We practice and implement all the techniques that are necessary. Live bait fishing, trolling, kite fishing, jigging, casting irons or poppers, spearfishing, fly fishing.
