We did not catch many fish, but it would be unfair of me to lower Greg’s ratings here because I felt like he worked plenty hard.  I knew it was going to be cool and breezy. It wound up windier than either Greg or I expected.

Greg has a good boat.  One way I measure guides (I’ve been out a lot) is whether they bring all the possible bait. Greg does.  He had live shrimp, sand fleas, and croakers (and maybe other stuff).  He could find fish, they just wouldn’t eat.  To be clear, we did catch half a dozen in our three hours.

Worth noting:  When I booked this trip, I did not realize it stayed in the channel with the cruise boats.  Makes sense since the fish are in deep water during the cold, but I had not expected it.

Biggest positive is that we ran into two schools of big Jacks near the end and Greg stayed with them until we had tried every trick in the book, much longer than he needed to.  I hooked one (it straightened the hook) but we went after them.

Pleasant guy to fish with.  Would go again.

Had an excellent trip with Captain Greg this past weekend. Despite slower action, Captain Greg got us into some good fishing and caught at least 6-different species of fish! Very fun and really nice boat for a group of 3 to get out there near-shore. Would 10/10 recommend to others looking into some near-shore fishing action.

Greg did a fantastic job putting us on some fish.  We caught big snook, sea trout, hammerheads, black tipped shark, and other small fish like croaker.  We caught a ton of fish and left with a cooler full of filets. Greg was very personable, professional, and all around easy to work with. He worked really well with my younger one who gets distracted easily.  It was a great experience.  We even saw dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles.  Greg also gave us recommendations with some other charters who specialize in deep sea adventures.

Captain Greg was very knowledgeable, skilled, and most importantly, patient! We caught some great fish despite relentless pelicans trying to interfere. He knew right where to go and gave us great pointers that will help us in the future. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience saltwater fishing with Reel Magic Adventures in Cape Canaveral! The boat was spotless and well-maintained, making for a comfortable trip. Captain Greg was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, guiding us to some great fishing spots where we landed snook and sheepshead. He communicated exceptionally well with our entire family, ensuring we all had a fantastic time. As first-timers fishing in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go again!
