What a great day out. I went with my two boys 16 and 13. Mike and Francois were very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and were terrific with the boys. We all caught yellow tale, got to see some beautiful wild life and take in the scenery. We were given advice on what to take for sea sickness, thankfully we didn’t need it. After our adventure and Mike’s recipe ideas we got to enjoy our catch at home. Mike even checked that we made it home okay as we did have a long drive back to Fisherhaven. Thanks again guys for a memorable day out. We’ll definitely book again!

We had a truly wonderful day out on the water. Both the captain and the skipper were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout the trip. We caught plenty of beautiful small- and medium-sized fish, which made the experience really enjoyable.

The highlight of the day was getting to see many whales and dolphins up close — an unforgettable and breathtaking moment.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and memorable fishing adventure!

What a GREAT day out we had. Four fine young men and two old farts taken ten miles out from Cape Point into the shipping lanes where within an hour we were hooking up on 20kg Yellow Fin. Wonderful weather and water conditions made for a perfect combination with good luck and Byron’s great knowledge of the waters and the whereabouts of the fish. I’ve fished the Kenya coast and never had such a bountiful catch. The boat and equipment is all tip-top and worked well for a group of six rods with the crew functioning like a well oiled machine. I have never seen game fish dispatched so quickly and humanely and bled and field dressed so efficiently. Collecting half the catch the following day which the crew had organised the processing of we have 24 massive, sushi grade fillets to share with friends and family as the best kind of culinary souvenir of a first class day on the water. Many thanks to Skipper Byron and the excellent crew of El Capitan. Have no doubt if you book this boat you will be in the hands of professionals and if the fish are out there, they will do their best to find ‘em!

We sailed out to Seal Island with Shaun and Kyle on the Katvis to catch Yellowtail. And boy did we catch yellowtail, 34 in total! Even the crew were excited about our luck.
The Yellowtail started biting immediately after the lines went out. We basically spent the entire morning pulling out one beautiful fish after another. The crew knew their equipment well and were able to constantly track the fish as they moved around.
We were also able to take in the bustling wildlife of seals, dolphins and even a whale, truly amazing.
Just make sure to have your permit and indemnity form ready ahead of time and you will be in for an experience.

Thank you ver much for an unforgetable fishing tour towards Cape Point with some perfect drill and getting five beautiful yello fin tunas.
on top of that we were lucky seeing also dolphins and whales.
