Coworker Chris and his mother Kitt were out for thier Lake Erie Walleye casting limits. They put their casting skills to work slinging 1oz casting harnesses working a 17 to 25 count. We used gold BADMO LURES 4.5 Arrowhead blades along with number 4 colorados. Marblehead Lighthouse was looking spectacular this morning so we slowed for a photo. Another 3 generation Lake Erie Walleye Charter. Nick, his son Clark and father Dave and Ian left East Harbor State Park Marina at 6am and headed to the roller coasters in 40 fow. The guys became masters of the BlackH2oDog Charters trolling set-up. There was constant action as we had a fair amount of White Perch and Walleye under 15 inches. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. Bill was in town for wrestling officiating and wanted to give the Walleye Capital Lake Erie a try. He found our Walleye with the Dogs charter and brought along long time friend Steven. This was a combination casting and trolling charter. We started off in the rocks off of KI and then hit the deeper water of the CP dump. With almost no wind, and a desire to have more Walleye to take home than we had from casting, we dropped in Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. The Flickers were equally strong. Robin and Jerel gifted a Walleye charter to their daughter Sierra for a Christmas present. After rescheduling two prior dates due to the Lake Erie wind machine, we finally got on the water.
