I booked the 6-hour Catalina trip with Captain Gerry for my nephew and I, and we had an absolutely terrific experience. Gerry was a knowledgeable fisherman. We started catching fish within 5 minutes of reaching his known honey hole. We had a beginner in our group and was getting tangled up a bit, and Gerry remained very patient and super enthusiastic for us when we would reel one in. We caught over 50 fish with Gerry and he offered to fillet the fish for us. We had a great experience and at the end of the day we got to feed our large family. Would definitely recommend.

This was an excellent fishing trip! I took my 11 year old son who hasn’t done much fishing and was a little bit nervous. Upon getting on the boat Captain Gerry assured us that we’d get fish and he’d look after my son. He wasn’t kidding. We caught about 80 fish out of which 9 were keepers. If you’re on the fence, let me help push you over. Gerry was amazing and it was well worth the money! I recommend going with the love bait, you’ll catch a bunch of fish. He knew exactly where to go and he helped my 8yr old son bait and unhook the 30+ fish he caught.
