- Captain James Kennedy's been fishing waters of South Louisiana his entire life. He's a native of this area and a Coast Guard licensed captain. As a young boy, he had a dream of fishing professionally. After many years of fishing in tournaments he succeeded in qualifying for the 2006 Bassmaster Classic and spent the next few years fishing nationally as an Elite Series fisherman. This was a milestone achievement he would always remember. Spending so much time on the Louisiana local waters, he's become an expert on them. - Captain James usually fishes drop shots and popping corks for Redfish and Speckled Trout. In the right conditions he'll use artificial lures. Sight fishing in the fall is one of his favorite styles.
