We had a great group from Canada this morning & they were excited to get on the water. They had originally booked an offshore Tuna trip but the weather offshore has not been cooperating lately. They decided to try the inshore fishing & they were very pleased. we caught several large to medium sized Spadefish with a few smalls mixed in to keep them reelin! Spadefish are very good tablefare & are very tough fighters on medium to light tackle. Book a trip today to get in on this action!

Spring Is Heating Up!!

As the water Temps start to rise the fish are finally starting to show in the inshore & Offshore waters. We had a fun crew on board last Friday & we ventured out to some of the inshore coastal rock piles & wrecks. We had plenty of reeling action due to the abundance of cool water sharks still in the area....but we also were able to scratch out a few nice puppy drum, Croakers, Grey Trout, Bluefish & Black Sea Bass "but Sea Bass are not in season until May 15th". In the inlets they are catching some large Bluefish & decent Speckled Trout as well. As waters warm over the coming weeks inshore we can expect the arrival of larger Spot & Croaker along with Flounder, Red Drum, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Spadefish, Various Shark Species & Cobia. Offshore the deep drop Blueline & Golden Tilefishing is always a good bet & the Yellowfin Tuna & Mahi Mahi bite is about to explode. Don't wait to book your trip. Spots are filling up fast!

Fishing In Febuary

We went to the Norfolk Canyon for some Tilefishing & it was well worth it. We had an unusual warm calm day in February & we took the opportunity to get on the water. We had plenty of action from the very first drop..bringing up doubles of Tilefish & large black Seabass "which are out of season until May 1st"... but still fun to catch. We also had plenty of action with many catches of Bluefish & Sharks to keep the rods bending all day long. With the crew happy with a cooler full of Tiles we headed in on a slick calm Atlantic Ocean. We overheard on the VHF radio that other boats had scored a few Yellowfin Tuna hookups a little to our South in slightly warmer waters. If this warmer weather trend continues...I expect an early kickoff to a great Spring fishing season! Book Your Dates Now!

Inshore 4 Hour Shark Fishing

We bought this as a birthday gift to my son. He wanted a sports fish trip to mark off his bucket list. We booked a 7AM 4hr trip and it was still a squelching hot day. We got a handful of spanish mackerel that they cleaned and took care of for us. We didn’t get anything and was just getting frustrated, we had 2 hrs with just nothing. He kept us out longer to make sure we got something good. My son got to bring in a big Red Drum. They said it was about a 70 year old fish that weighed... Meer

Thank you Eric for the kind review… It was definitely a hot day today with zero breeze at all! We appreciate you guys fishing with us and I wanted more than anything to get a big fish for your son for his birthday. Thank God we were able to get one there near the end. Fishing is very unpredictable. I have been a captain for 16 years & mated on other boats for years before becoming a captain…I also was a charter boat customer for many years & have done hundreds of deep sea offshore 12 hour trips that cost 5x what a 4 hour inshore trip costs & can’t tell you how many times we caught nothing all day long! But the few times where we had great days is what keeps you coming back to try again! I’m sorry it was slow for yall for a while today & glad it ended with a big fish but many of the other charter boats out there today never had a chance to get to that school of big fish before they were gone again. It could have easily been us that didn’t get there in time. I’m thankful anytime we are lucky enough to be the one catching. There is definitely no guarantees in fishing. Thanks again.

Captain Scott and 1st Mate Jeffrey started out catching fish just out of port, when things slowed, we moved 5 miles and we were on the fish again. Once we caught enough to take home we went out a bit deeper and got on to a school of Red Drum. The Captain worked the boat to place us in the best situation possible to catch fish, and his 1st Mate worked the baits and rods. Had a lot of fun, definitely going back for more. Thank you

Scott & Jeffery were both great! Between communicating prior to the trip with reminder and even alerting the change in weather the day before it was great 10/10 will recommend! Although the weather wasn’t the best the trip was still memorable and fun to say the least!

Unfortunately the weather plays a large part in our business & we have to try to be weather men as well as captain / fishfinder / entertainer…being weather man is the hardest part by far.
