- Captain J. Kent grew up around the Chesapeake Bay and the Mid-Atlantic, where he fished for Striped Bass. His passion for offshore fishing then led him further south to the Florida Keys. J. spent the winter months fishing the waters of Key West and three months during the summer fishing for Salmon, Lingcod, and world record Halibut off the coast of Southeast Alaska. He has now relocated to southern North Carolina where he has been commercial Spearfishing the fall season for close to 10 years. He looks forward to putting his clients on the variety of fish species here in the Atlantic off of NC.
- Techniques
- Light tackle fishing is my expertise from fishing the waters of Key West. That doesn’t mean small fish, rather we use high end spinning and conventional gear to match the species allowing the clients to really feel the power of the fish.
