Well four guys four hours and only four fish is not great fishing (we did lose around 5 more fish including two Barracuda) but Alex puts in 100% effort (I don’t believe in saying 110%) to make sure you can get as many fish in the boat in an ethical manner. We caught lots of fish! Mostly sand tile fish. Some red grouper, one squrriel fish (very cool), one black tregar fish and 2 giant queen trager fish! Caught about 30 fish in 3 hours. Our whole group of 3 seemed to all get seasick at the same time and the caption offered to bring us to a pool to help pass the seasickness. We declined tho as we didn’t want to stop fishing. Punctual, Professional and a joy to be on the water with. Captain Alex picked us up right on time, took us to the grocery store (even went in w us and showed us where what we needed was) and worked hard to give us a successfull day on the water. Alex is very knowledgable on all things in The Domincan Republic. He educated us on marine ecosystems, island history, the massive growth and development of Punta Cana, etc. Highly recommend him for an enjoyable excursion. Thanks Again Captain Alex More

Over the years, I have been on dozens of guided fishing trips throughout the Caribbean Sea and Alex was one the best guides to date.  We caught several groupers and one trigger fish over the four-hour trip.  Everyone on the boat was entertained and had enough action even with the light bite that morning.  We enjoyed the fishing style and interaction with the guide, in that we had some autonomy with the gear provided.  I would definitely use Alex again if visiting Punta Cana.
