We went out with capt Alden the built in fish finder guide. When capt Alden says I guarantee you’ll catch your limit he means it. He did a masterful job of avoiding bad weather getting our limits quick and putting us on the fish. He put us on the spots with the fish and when the bit turned off he moved to the next spot where the bite was back on.

We booked our fishing trip the night before and they were very quick to confirm our trip. The weather was beautiful, kind of windy but that didn’t stop our guide from finding the honey holes. Our guide was very helpful and we had a wonderful afternoon with him. We definitely will book in the future when we are back in NOLA.

I’m a frequent visitor to the area but this was my hunter-fisherman husband’s first time. He asked our amazing guide, “China” to put us on big fish. We went out on the 0600 launch and I got to catch the “smaller” reds to filet & take home. He then took us out and Wowsa - we were definitely on BIG fish! For nearly 4 hours, we had fish on that were fighting and so much fun to reel in! Our arms were sore and I’ve got bruises on my hip/thigh area as these fish fight! We stopped taking... Meer

It was tough fishing conditions, but we managed to catch about 20 fish of 5 different species. Captain Chad is a great guy to spend time with on the water. He has been fishing in that area for many years, so he is very knowledgable about the fishery. We had one person on our trip that has only been fishing once since the 70’s as a young girl, and he even managed to help her catch a redfish :-)
