Captain Doug was amazing from the time we booked until our trip ended.  I will one hundred percent book with him on our next trip.  He communicated with me before the trip, and even when he was pulling up to the dock.  We have three boys, ages 15, 13 and 8.  He was so patient with them, and helpful, and also taught us all so much.  We caught so many fish, and we realize there was a chance we would not have, but regardless the trip would have been amazing, and I credit it to Doug. Coming off of a cold front in December and a full moon the night before.  The water levels were low due to the full moon.  Captain Doug took us out anyway and had us on fish right away.  Captain Doug was great with the entire family and is truly great at his job.  I would strongly recommend Captain Doug to any person.  Weither its an inexperienced family or seasoned angler, Doug is the right choice!

I starting writing this review with my 8 year old son and he began filling in.  That is the subject. If you’re relatively inexperienced with children I couldn’t recommend Captain Doug enough. He’s polite, extremely patient and talented. I go on similar fishing charters yearly in the Keys and have never had a captain remotely close.  With Captain Doug we went catching not fishing.  At least that’s how it felt.  You made our day sir. we were catching fishing within seconds of fishing.  Total for the day near 150 fish in 4hrs.  Captain Doug kept our lines clear and bait moving with no down time.  He’s an expert and will definitely look him up on our next trip.

Fantastic day on the water.  Doug was awesome!! Even though we didn’t have young kids with us he was the kind of captain I would want if we did.  His demeanor would have been great for younger kids.  We will book with him again.  Ended up being a windy day and conditions weren’t ideal but he kept us on fish all day.  Can’t wait to fish a better day with him and see what he can get us on.
