pre trip communication was great but when we stepped on the boat the captain lead us on a fish catching adventure. Captain Bill knows where fish are and made it possible for all us with different levels of fishing ability to catch fish. This trip was just what I needed as I have not been fishing in quite some time and things have changed. Captain Bill took the time to go through a very detailed overview of what we were going to do which I appreciated (even sent me home with his tips and a game plan for future use). Starting from the very basic biology of fish and why they do what they do, and how we can imitate what they eat. He then took me through fishing in the 3 layers of the water column. although we didnt catch a lot of fish due to conditions and our trip coinciding with a large tournament which put a lot of pressure on the fish, we had a good day on the water. Captain Bill brought us to several spots and happily shared his knowledge of the lake.

My son and I had a great time with Captain Bill. Bill was not only a professional fisherman but he was fun to talk to and get to know. He taught us how to use a bait caster and other helpful fishing techniques. I look forward to booking another trip the next time we visit our son.
