I booked a trip on the lake for my son and I.  Captain Charlie was patient, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the local waters and fish behavior. He knew exactly where to go for the best fishing.  The weather cooperated and we had a phenomenal time!  I will definitely re-book with Captain Charlie the next time we visit Maine.

This charter was the best boating charter that we’ve ever been on. We took our grandson for a special trip and he had a blast. We caught three landlocked, salmon and a bunch of lake trout. Charles was great. He knew where the fish were and taught us many facts about the lake and the fish. We highly recommend this charrter

Captain Charlie was GREAT! He was waiting at the boat ramp ahead of schedule on July 25, 2024. Once at the fishing grounds, within 10 minutes we had a hookup. Dennis and myself had over 30 strikes; netting at least 20 Lake Trout or Salmon in 4 hours. Fantastic day and would highly recommend.

The weather was terrible, the fishing wasn’t the greatest but the captain made the day one to remember. His passion for finding fish was unreal. We had such a great time watching him work the boat and try to find us fish. Because of his hard work and knowledge we were all able to haul in a fish. Most captains would have given up with the rain and cold but he gave us are full experience and never stopped trying to hook more fish. The roomy pontoon boat was a major bonus. Charlie picked up our crew from Migis Lodge on time and gave a quick safety briefing, then it was off to catch some enormous lake trout! Charlie is super knowledgeable, friendly, and great with kids, plus he put the boys straight onto the fish. It was everything we could have wanted!
