Redfish in the rain!

Maa 10, 2025 St Augustine

Yesterday was yet another fun day on the water here in the First City. It took some time for the fish to wake up and bite but when they did it was on. Lots of redfish and a few really nice trout. Everything was caught on a Blue Water Candy Aftershock jig head and a live shrimp. Water temps are holding steady around 62 degrees. Come get your fishing fix!

Inshore in the wind!

It was a beautiful start to the day here in Saint Auguatine. The water temps have crept into the low 60’s and the fishing has been very good with several days of double digit reds this week. A live shrimp on a jig head has been the ticket lately both in the creeks and under the docks. Spring is here and the fishing is hot!

We had a great experience with captain Tony. Our group of 3 adults and 1 child was catered to perfectly. He did everything we wanted to do in a short period of time. Pickup / drop off was easy, fish cleaning was great. He put us on fish in 2 completely different scenarios, both were productive. Trolling for king mackerel and shark fishing behind a shrimp boat, also even his cast netting bait fish was productive. Would highly recommend and we will probably be back.

My dad and I are from Pennsylvania, and wanted to catch somebig fish! We were down in Florida for a lacrosse tournament and decided we had to go fishing!! It was a blast! Great day on the water, with some big ol redfish! Thank you Captain Tony for an amazing experience!

Took us to just the right spots! Within 10 min had 2 fish on the lines at same time and continued like that all day. When we filled the cooler with mackerel and barracuda, we went to fight shark and tarpon. Incredible day we’ll never forget or probably ever be able to replicate!
