we had a very joyful fishing trip guided by Owen, at first, i hesitated if he could help us to catch the fishes since he was about 21 years old, even 10 years younger than my youndgest daughter. but later, we realized Owen in fact is very professional in fishing. people said “Dont judge people by its cover”, it is well said here., he helped us to catah a lot of fishes which were what we wanted : lincod and rockfish. we all were super happy through the whole... My wife, son (8 yr), and I did a half day trip with Oceans West Adventures. It was great! We are beginners and Captain Owen was able to get us on to fish (Chinook, lingcod, and rock fish). Everyone had a great time - my son hasn’t stopped talking about his lingcod since. Scott (the owner) checked in with me the day before to confirm departure time, our goals, licensing needs, and answer any questions we had - he made it super easy. We had a great two days of fishing, caught our limit the second day and had good catches the first day despite very high winds.  The experience was one of the best I have had, really knowledgable and friendly captains who get you to the fish.  Could not recommend more highly, we will be back!
