Captain Mitch was the best. We had an unbelievable time. He was super communicative leading up to it. As for the day of, we had the best time. It was me and my two teenagers, and he was so informative and entertaining at the same time. My daughter was a beginner and he was really patient with her. He balanced our time between easier to catch fish and looking for the harder to catch fish. Captain Mitch just seemed really intent on making sure we had a great time. It’s clear he loves his job and seeing people enjoy fishing. And God bless him he filleted the 40+ fish we caught (we caught much more but stopped keeping em). Would def recommend going with him it’ll always be a good time!!

Capt Mitch was wonderful and had us on a variety of fish. The tide wasn’t the best, and while some of the other charter Captains were having trouble finding fish, Captain Mitch knew right where to go. In no time, we had Speckled Trout, Redfish, Drums, Sheepshead and Flounder in the boat. Capt Mitch shared a lot of information about the area, the ecosystem, and was a wealth of knowledge. He was also personable and funny, which made the trip even better! While cleaning the fish after our trip. He even gave us some advice on good recipes for what we’d caught. We would 100% recommend using Capt Mitch for your fishing adventures!

My wife was highly impressed by the exceptional communication and customer service provided. Captain Mitch demonstrated profound expertise in his field. My wife, who had not fished since childhood, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we had a successful and relaxing outing, catching numerous fish. As visitors from Indiana, we sought a unique activity, and this experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this excursion and specifically request Captain Mitch; you will not be disappointed. We anticipate returning in the future.

I hope that this review does justice to how much fun that we had one this fishing trip.  The communication leading up to the trip was great, Captain Mitch answered all my questions and was very helpful with providing information. 

We were watching the weather very closely, and Mother Nature did not cooperate on this day.  The forecast called for thunderstorms and strong winds.  Captain Mitch advised that we could cancel the trip due to the terrible weather conditions.  My GF and I were excited to fish and asked if we could go anyway and he said that we could still go, just don’t expect great results due to the weather.  We understood the risk but still wanted to go.

Despite the awful conditions, Captain Mitch pulled some rabbits out of his hat.  Despite never redfishing before, he taught us how to catch redfish, and showed tremendous patience with my girlfriend and I.  He was a great guy, that had great stories and made the trip fun.

The end result was a fantastic day fishing.  We had fish on throughout the trip and found some keepers for the table.  Other Captains couldn’t believe that he didn’t cancel the trip and told him that there was no way that he was going to catch anything.  Needless to say, Captain Mitch’s skills were too much for Mother Nature that day.  We are beyond grateful that he didn’t cancel the trip and was relentless in finding us fish. 

If you are looking for a reason to book this charter, this reviee should be it.  Great boat and fishing equipment, friendly and easy going Captain that produced in horrible conditions.  Thanks Captain Mitch for making our fishing trip a memorable one.

Captain Mitchel was absolutely phenomenal! We had a blast out on the water with him! Captain Mitchel - is fun, safe, professional, and knowledgable about the area! As folks who don’t fish and go out on the water he was sure we learned, caught fish, and had a blast! We got the full fun and peaceful experience out on the water! Captain Mitchel also recommended a restaurant called Restaurant Des Families that would cook our fish for us and they too were great! We will definitely be coming back to fish and ride with Captain Mitchel 😊!!
