This is our third trip with Captain Mason for inshore fishing and once again it was an amazing trip. Mason is friendly and patient as we dont fish salt/inshore often . He kept us moving to productive spots and considered every tactic to make our trip fun and successful. When your catching keepers…your having fun! He caught bait for the day before our 7a mtg time and met us 30 mins south on Oak Island where we were staying. We worked for fish the majority of the day on some great looking spots catching 6-8 fish, first trout of the season and some keeper reds. We never stayed on a spot longer than 20 mins if the bite was slow. We actually ran out of bait with 45 mins or so left in our trip so we made a bait run close by netting 20 or so mini-mullet to fish the last spot. It was a spot we’d fished an hour... Meer

Fishing with Captain Mason once again proved how dialed into to the game he really is. My 7yr. old grandson thinks the world of him Mason always has helpful tips and suggestions for and always puts us on the fish. This trip was Redfish and a grab bag of others. We have been deep sea fishing several times and never caught as much as we did this time. I took my three young boys out and we had a great fishing experience.
