We had an unforgettable trip with great catch! The captain and his son were incredibly friendly, super professional, and made us feel welcome right from the start. The boat was perfect for our family of four, with enough space for the kids to have a snooze in the comfort of the shade waiting for the fish to bite, but also a nice upper deck for dolphin watching and some sun. Onboard toilet a big bonus. Father/ son (& grandson) combination was very professional, helpful and friendly with a lot of experience. Easy to park at the public beach. Thoroughly recommend Capt Antonio and his son Luciano , 3rd and 4th generation Mauritian big game fishermen and it showed .From the moment we stepped on board the Maranatha ,we were welcomed and set sail straight away , within an hour we had our first fish hooked , however it threw the hook . The Capt and Luciano were full of encouragement and with in the next couple of hours has 2 Dorados on board, at the end of our 8 hour trip we had 4 great fish , had seen Whales and had an amazing... Father and son team, Capt Antonio and Luciano were fantastic. My 12 year old son and I were hoping to catch a marlin. Sadly we didnt get any bites in our short excursion but caught a dorado which we used as live bait. Luciano was fantastic with my son answering hundreds of questions. We will return for the big one next time in Mauritius!
