Ricardo did a very professional job of getting us on fish on a pretty bumpy half day. We had to run north for bait and it was too rough to try roosters there. Plan B we ran to the fish farm and were able to tangle with some nice Jacks. We left there and ran south to try to get a Rooster fish. I was fortunate to catch a nice one before we called it a day. The boat was well kept and captain and mate worked hard to get us our fish. I’d highly recommend booking with Idra.

Captain Ricardo is a fish whisperer!  We caught 15 different species of fish today, from Roosterfish and rainbow runner to starry grouper and pacific creole fish.  This team knows their waters and how to have fun. First mate Carlos is formerly a commercial fisherman and his depth of experience helped make the trip amazing.  We also happened across a pair of humpback whales and they breached, it was an incredible experience to see.  Would recommend highly.

We caught barracuda and spanish mackeral.  Lots of bites, and we came home with plenty of fish for a few meals.  Thanks guys!

We hooked way more fish then we landed but that was our fault. Guides put us on the fish and told us exactly what to do. We still ended up with more fish then we could eat. We will be recommending all our guests that rent my house to use them. We were looking for fresh fish to eat for the week and they delivered. Just wish we could have landed the couple trophy snapper we had hooked

We had a great time with Capt. Ricardo and Carlos. Roosterfish was the target fish for us to catch and they put us on them without any doubt before we left the marina. We caught a few Roosters and put a really nice Snook in the boat for an added bonus!! I highly recommend booking a trip with them, we wish we would have booked a couple of trips while we were there.
