We had a fabulous time!!  Captain Eddy was in constant contact with us about the weather beforehand.  We ended up changing our time for safety and it’s a good thing we did.  He certainly lived up to the reputation of what a captain should be.  Safety was definitely one of the most important things.  The crew were friendly, knowledgeable and as if they were fortune tellers - everything they said would happen, happened.  We caught our limit and then moved onto a different type of fish and caught our limit.  We had a blast.  The crew would hold up our catch and if it wasn’t big enough the captain would tell them to throw it back.  They baited our hooks and did absolutely everything for us.  Can’t recommend them enough.  We would definitely go with them again!!!  My son keeps saying that captain was sharp!!!

We had a late start right off the rip due to a wreck that shut down half of orange beach. The captain was super understanding and actually helped direct half of our party out of the traffic and to the harbor a way that even gps hadn’t mentioned. Before we knew it we were on the water and pulling up snappers! Several of our group had never been offshore fishing including my little cousin in some of the videos. We didn’t have much of a troll bite after we filled our snapper limit but he was able to pull up a mackerel and bonito and loved every bit of it! After seeing everyone’s catches at the harbor it looked as though everyone had a tuff bite as well. The boat was super clean and even though it didn’t get very choppy out there it was a very smooth ride out and in. It had A/C and actual restrooms so if you were to have any kids or maybe some on the elder side this would be perfect for them to keep from getting too hot out there on those warm days! The hand was also very knowledgeable and helpful during the entire trip as well. They also cleaned and bagged our catch for us at the end of the trip! Great people and great boat! I would recommend High Cotton to anyone and everyone and plan to use them again in the future, possibly for a 12hr next time! Thanks again guys!

Captain Eddy knew exactly where the fish were! We were dropping and reeling up steady the whole time we were fishing! We had 7 fishing and 1 taking pictures and we were only 12 away from reaching our limit (68/80)! All the kids caught lots of fish and even a big one that ran KB (first mate) to the front of the boat but it snapped the line and got away. We all had so much fun. KB and Gatlin kept running to get the fish off the hooks and rebait them. They were also quick to get us a new pole if something happened! They worked their tails off and laughed with us the whole time. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for a great trip! We will be back for more fun for sure!!

We took a 6-hour afternoon trip (1–7 PM) with High Cotton Fishing Charter—me, my wife, and our 7 kids ranging in age from 5 to 19—and it was absolutely amazing. Every single one of us caught fish, and there were smiles all around the entire time.

The boat was roomy and comfortable, with a clean, air-conditioned interior that gave the kids a nice break from the sun when needed. The crew was fantastic—professional, friendly, and great with all ages. They made the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish, and they clearly knew how to put us on the fish.

We made so many great memories on this trip, and we’re already looking forward to going out with High Cotton again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a top-tier fishing experience
