First time fishing with Captain Dale was an awesome time! My brother, my 13 year old son decided to book a 4 man trip to celebrate my 10 year old son’s birthday & boy was it a great decision! It was an early Saturday morning trip, so there were quite of bit of boats out on the water initially, however Dale knew a lot of spots that we had to our own & we had great results. Caught quite a few trout (a few didn’t make length), but the most memorable thing was the birthday boy experiencing a fight of reeling in a giant Red!!! A few minutes later my brother caught another awesome red. I’d definitely recommend booking a trip with Captain Dale & I will be dishing with him again. Thanks Dale! 🎣

Went on a morning charter with Captain Dale. There were four of us and he was welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and of course had his deckhand Bear on board which was a bonus. He had bait ready and enough rods for all of us. He kept our lines baited with live bait and we never stayed in one spot if the fish weren’t biting. We each caught our limit to include trout, redfish, and even hard heads. We also caught trout larger than we could keep but he made sure to take our picture first. Captain Dale knew the spots to go and he was kind, funny and focused on us catching fish! We will always use Captain Dale when we come to Port A! Thanks to Captain Dale for a great trip and if you book him, make sure to bring Bear some jerky!

My husband and I took our 3 children ages 8, 11, & 12 out with Captain Dale. He has a wonderful personality and made my kids laugh the whole time while they still learned how to reel in some massive bass. We will be booking again with Cap. Dale. He’s extremely personable and knowledgeable when it comes to where the fish are. I’d also like to add that he didn’t move us too much from our spot which was less stressful and relaxing because it was an extremely windy day and we did NOT have to worry about telling the kids to sit and stand over and over. Cheers to a great fishing day!!

Such a phenomenal experience from the beginning to the end. Capt. Dale was very responsive to any questions we had and even called the night before to check-in, ensure we were properly prepared and to answer any questions.

We probably caught over 35 fish but the 20 drum fish we hauled home were the real prizes! We also nailed 5 MASSIVE drum fish that were so large we had to throw back (some 37 inchers).

We concluded our trip by having some drinks at the boat ramp while they cleaned over 150lbs of fish!

Capt. Dale recommended we take some of the fillets to Black Diamond Oyster bar and WOW! We did that and it was amazing! Highly recommend.

If you don’t book this trip, you are truly missing out. You won’t get a better experience anywhere else.

Amazing!  Booked a full day trip with the family.  Very little fishing experience between us but Captain Dale walked us through everything we needed to know. He communicated with us before the trip. On the day of the trip, he called us to make sure we checked the weather. After checking, rain was in the forecast. LOTS of rain. We said we were still in and the Captain said alright then.  Did I already say amazing!  He walked us through what we needed and got us fishing. He wasn’t going to let the rain, wind, or visibility ruin our experience.  I would even say our experience was more memorable because with all those obstacles, we still caught some keepers and immensely enjoyed our time with Captain. We cooked our red fish per his suggestion, AMAZING!  I highly recommend Always an Adventure knowing we had, I’m going to say it again, an amazing adventure.
