Fall cobia fishing

Cobia have been immigrating back through the Destin area. For the last few weeks we have been hooking up with a few larger sizes. Cobia is known for being one of the best eat fishing in salt water.

Red snapper season is booking quick

Looks like we are going to have another awesome red snapper season in the Destin area. The season is from the 2 week of June the the end of July. Season time frame is subject to changes by the state of Florida. Bookings are going quickly. Definitely don't wait too long to book before all of the dates are gone. James and 1st mate did an awesome job for us! Lines were baited and out constantly. Fish were hitting steady! James knew right where to go. Weather was a little rough but James battled it well! I’ll definitely book with him Apex Charters again!

Took my 8 year old grandson out and he had a ball. Caught fish the hole trip and the captain was great working with my grandson. Excellent experience all the way around highly recommend using apex charters. Captain James and wife were awesome.

We caught fish for the cooler and then fought with amberjacks and the sharks who wanted to eat them for a while. It was so fun! There were dolphins playing around the boat, which was pretty amazing for this North Dakota girl. This trip was a gift for my husband’s 50th and it was worth every penny. Captain James is fun and professional. His boat is perfect. Definitely recommend.
