He added Striped Bass to the mix in 1992. He fishes the Feather and Sacramento Rivers, which boast some of the finest fishing on the West Coast.

- Captain Mike is adept in all techniques of fishing depending on what species he is fishing for. He likes conventional fishing due to the fact that anyone can learn these styles whether it be spinning or casting reels. He also teaches fly fishing but that would require to be more of a two-day excursion.
