Mac got us right on the fish. Right under the nose of locals.  Loved to talk armed forces and had stories!  He understood the environment and prepped for the guided charter.  Took us to a marina and filleted all the fish. Caught too many we had to stop. 😉

Mac gave us a great day out fishing. He was knowledgeable, and helpful. He made every effort to make sure we had fish to take home he completed the task. We had 6 Redfish and a flounder to go home with. Can’t wait for another excursion with him. And we had 3 hour trip!

He went out early to collect live bait for us. Provided EVERYTHING we needed but a few drinks and took us directly to the fish. In less than 3 hours we pulled up almost 30 fish and kept 14 reds, which he cleaned for us.  Awesome time.

Captain Macfarlane did a great job helping us find fish in very suboptimal conditions. The overall experience was excellent and he did a great job teaching us how to target the various species in the area, as well as how to rig up equipment that we weren’t used to. He was happy to help with anything but let us learn on our own when we wanted to, which is always my preference.

Fish just weren’t biting today but we don’t blame Captain. That’s just the way it goes sometimes. He had his hands with us 4 inexperienced fishermen but he taught us a lot. We did not know that spray sunblock was a problem- deters the fish. So we didn’t reapply as we should’ve of….. we’re from OH, so we’re pretty fried to say the least. If we’d known, we would’ve brought something else. He did offer to extend our time, which was nice but we declined, teenage daughter was sea... Meer
