Captain Fraser grew up around his parents’ scuba diving business. He inherited the love for fishing from his father and later in life they were running together charters in Costa Rica. He's the head of Fly & Fish With Fraser business and is currently running night-time Tarpon fishing trips around Biscayne Bay in Miami, daytime Tarpon fishing trips, and Patch Reef Fishing in Key Largo.
Techniques
Captain Fraser went on his first trip around 1999 with Captain Tom Calandra. Later he got his own boat and became an expert in chasing Tarpon and the waters of the Biscayne Bay. Moving southwards, I started fishing around the Upper Keys and Key Largo. My desire was to offer anglers more diverse fishing experience and since then I've also organized patch reef fishing and Tarpon fishing there. I've learned a lot and I'm eager share my knowledge with you for that bucket list fish on fly or spin!

โ€œMake you fall in love and break your heart all in a one second!โ€ First week of the year and itโ€™s off to a spectacular start for my sports! 2 sailfish offshore and We jumped a total of 14 Tarpon over the weekend on live bait artificial and fly with stunning acrobatics leaving everyone breathless. No exception was nick! The winter shrimp hatch has started in Miami and the best is yet to come as the young shrimp emerge from the sea grass in Biscayne bay. After hooking several Tarpon and after a good, long fight on the TFO, Nick finally subdued this Tarpon for boat side pics and the release! The old school cockroach fly was all we had left but the Tarpon didnโ€™t seem to know the difference between โ€œnew schoolโ€ or โ€œold schoolโ€ go figure!

Congrats 220lb Tarpon for my angler Reid on his 13th birthday and its his firstTarpon ! itโ€™s the biggest to date on my boat. It was 87 inches long and had a girth of 39 we used the Jerald Ault formula to estimate weight it gave us 220lb. Regardless of weight what a beast north of 200lb and everyone was more than pleased to see this fish swim away healthy. We took a lot of time to revive the fish. No one wanted to see this Tarpon die or get eaten by sharks. What a 13th ibirthday Tarpon! More pics and videos to follow. Live mullet spin gear 50lb braid
