We just got back from an afternoon of fishing with Travis and his son Nick. We are a family with a preteen and elementary schooler and this may be the highlight of the summer for them. Travis took us to great spots where the kids could catch a lot of fish quickly (and I mean a lot). It was great action for two kids who had never fished before. Planned a last minute trip for my son’s birthday, and we had a blast. We were worried about bad weather and driving 2.5 hours but Travis had amazing communication the whole time and kept us all up to date! There were 6 of us and we had all caught a good amount of fish. Took my 11 year old son out for a birthday fishing trip. Captain Long communicated with us really well leading up to the trip. During the trip he was super informed and coached us through how to hook stripers. Very patient with my son and made sure we all had a great time. Pretty sure we caught more fish than any other boat that day, too, probably around 30. Great trip, will definitely do it again!

Travis should be your go to if you’re looking for a smooth day on the water with new or experience fishers.  We were a group of 6, he was patience,  explained everything in depth, suggested certain locations for better catch opportunity, due to the time of year, etc. My 11y/o had a blast & we caught a lot of fish.  I Would definitely continue to book any future fishing trips with his charter.

We really enjoyed our trip with Captain Travis! He was very accommodating and tried his best to work around the weather but it he weather had other plans. Despite the weather we still had a great trip! Captain Travis took his time with us and educated us on how to fish and the different types of fish we were catching.
