We had amazing weather for our half day trip. We did not catch any of the bigger fish we were going for (sailfish or mahi mahi), but the captain and crew definitely tried their hardest. They told us in the morning that the weather has been rainy and they haven’t been catching much. We did catch many bonita, so everyone got a chance to reel something in. We have been on a lot of chartered trips but this one topped them all. Frank and Luis were top notch. We started the day with 5 fish on at once….and wrapped up the 1/2 day trip with another “5 hook up”. We hooked 7 species of fish, including Wahoo, Sailfish, and a Shark. On the way back Luis prepared fresh pineapple and Tuna sashimi from our catch. Will definitely book Frank again next time in Tamarindo!

Had a great day out on the boat with Captain Frank and his mates Issac and Victor. Initially got a couple of short hook ups with a striped marlin and teased by a blue marlin. We then followed a school of spinner dolphins and Capt. Frank put my mom onto a huge yellowfin tuna. Both mates Issac and Victor coached my mom through the fight and eventually landed the monster. Definitely the biggest fish she’s ever caught. After that we got a nice sailfish. Great crew, very informative and helpful.... Meer

Although we did not catch fish, our experience was good. The captain worked hard to find fish and extended our charter by almost two hours to find fish. In talking with others, various charters got skunked. I would use this charter in the future.

The captain and crew are the best.Very talented!!!! Very accommodating.They put us on the fish all day.We caught yellowfin sailfish, mahi, amazing. the crew was also very accommodating with the weather tons of snacks and beer on board and the provided lunch was amazing chicken sandwiches, mario and luis are phenomenal on that boat.If you want to catch big fish book with them!!!!
