I booked a 6-hour trip with Captain Juul for Zander and Perch.  We had a great time and explored a lot of the Amsterdam canals for fish.  Captain Juul’s knowledge runs deep and he brings global fishing knowledge to his clients (just ask him about some of his fishing experiences!).  Caught multiple Zander using different techniques.  As a bonus, Captain Juul makes a custom video of his client’s fishing experience and shares the same at the end of the trip.  Tons of fun - highly recommend. ... An unforgettable fishing trip in Amsterdam with my son Alex! We had an incredible time on the water, catching plenty of Zander and even a perch. I booked a 4-hour fishing trip as a thank you to my husband for enjoying the tulips with me at Keukenhof Gardens. Captain Juul was great at corresponding before the trip to make sure I understood about the meeting spot, and he had us catching Zander and Perch right way. Not only is he an extremely knowledgeable guide and very prepared with tackle and high tech equipment, but the conversation was also great.  We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Captain Juul!

Shortly after getting onto the boat we had the first fish contact. It did not take long until the first Zander was in the boat. The captain Juul is an very experienced fisherman who his area and the conditions very well. Despite the strong winds he was able to find nice spots to fish. I do highly recommend this fishing trip close to the city center of Amsterdam. It is a great add on to your Amsterdam city trip.

He explained how to catch them, and was a great conversationalist. Also the raisin bread was excellent! It was a really fun morning!
