- Bite Me Sportfishing is the largest sportfishing charter company in Hawaii. Their captains have been fishing the Kona coastline for most of their lives and will do everything in their power to put you on fish. The team includes Hawaii's only female captain, Deneen Wargo, who is also the only female angler to participate in the Hawaiin International Billfish tournament (and she came very close to winning it, too)! Deneen is married to Brian Wargo, the owner of Bite Me Sportfishing. Brian has done everything, from tackling down a shark to save a life to winning a Carnegie award and medal. He has even been on the cover of Reader's Digest! An amazing fisherman, he is a really good guy with a big heart, who takes care of his employees. The Bite Me team is made up of 30 people, from captains and crew to operations managers. They consider themselves to be one big family, and every team member goes out of their way on a daily basis to ensure every customer has a memorable experience.
