From start to finish, this fishing charter exceeded all expectations. Captain Dave and first mate Matt were not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and fun to be around. They made everyone—from beginners to seasoned anglers—feel right at home.
The boat was spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. We hit some great fishing spots, and thanks to the captain’s expertise, we were reeling in fish in no time! We caught a beautiful fluke, sea bass and scup which was a bucket-list moment for me.
What really stood out was how the crew went the extra mile to ensure everyone had a great time. They shared tips, told great stories, and even helped clean and pack the fish for us to take home.

Captain Dave and hand Matt were fantastic. They made sure everyone in the party knew how to use the gear. They offered suggestions to those of us having difficulty keeping the fish on the line. They always had an extra rod baited up, assisted with the occasional untangle, and were just great guys to talk to. We moved to a few areas, had to rewatch the drift a few times but by the end we were pulling something up every couple of minutes. We caught a scup, fluke and black sea bass, and they filleted all of them for us.

I would recommend using email direct with Captain Dave as I was not sure if the fishing booker messaging service was fully going through.

We had an amazing day out with Captain Dave and mate Matt! Even though the trip was right after a storm, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time on the water. Their knowledge, professionalism, and positive energy made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. These guys deserve SIX STARS! Great charter, had a blast with David & Matt. Caught lots of fish while laughing the whole time until I got sea sick and had to return to the bay. Don’t fish in the bay, super boring. If you’re lucky enough to have first mate, Matt H, he’s a savant with the line untangling which is why he was at Harvard for two weeks before becoming a first mate. Can’t miss with these guys!

Great day on the water despite some tough weather.  Captain worked hard to keep us on fish and knew exactly where they would be. Huge striped bass caught on light tackle with eels. After the sharks took over (big fish, great fight), we switched to sea bass and fluke for a nice haul to make lots of fish tacos.  Overall fun day with great crew, excellent boat and equipment.
