You cannot do better than to book with Mike. On top of being a super kind and professional guide, he is a wealth of knowledge. On a cool, windy, gray day (challenging conditions), he put us on snook, redfish, sheepshead, and trout. In fact, we caught our limit of trout (he caught 3 keepers), which he graciously filleted for me. I cannot recommend Mike enough. It was a really fun day, and I will definitely book with him, again. Thank you, Mike! 😃🙌

Captain Mike Moran is an outstanding guide and person. He’s a consummate professional and really works his tail off to put you on fish. Mike knows his trade well. He grew up fishing these waters and it shows. My wife Steph and I had an absolutely fantastic trip today and despite the tough conditions still managed to hook some really nice snook despite my crappy casting! Today was an absolute blast fishing with you snd Steph!!! Tons of laughs, fishing and BS’ing!!!!! Thank you for your service, Mike. love the passion for life. Incredible stories had my admiration all day. It was a tough day fishing!!!!! We never threw in the towel!!!! We’d still be out there if it weren’t for somebody with some good sense(Steph)!!!!!! Mike was great! He grew up on these waters so he was very knowledgeable. As an ex local, that also grew up here, I knew we were in good hands. He has great gear and and a great boat. He got us on the fish right away! I caught my pb snook and redfish within the first hour. We actually lost count how many we caught. We had a FANTASTIC time with Captain Mike! He is knowledgeable about the waters that we fished in. He also has an innate love for nature. So, if you’re a naturalist, you will absolutely enjoy his time and energy. We had a half day excursion, and we caught numerous species of fish. Captain Mike was a great guide. From the start, he was punctual and informed us of everything we’d be doing for the day. He also had a livewell full of good baits to last us all day. The fishing on our specific day was alittle tough. Fish were being very finicky and it was much windier than the forecast projected to be, however Mike still found a way to get us on some fish. Would recommend Mike every time for a guide in Matlacha!!! See you soon Mike!
