The fish weren’t cooperating….not just for us, but for everyone on the water. We did catch some small sharks and a flounder and a crab. Our kids still had an excellent time. Our weather was perfect. Our captain, Rich was absolutely fantastic. He was very educated and taught us lots of cool things that we did not already know.  Rich was extremely accommodating and did really well with our kids. I appreciated his ideas and suggestions. Thanks for the fun morning.

You can’t predict the weather… the night before the forecast was looking promising for a near shore/offshore trip as planned. Overnight without any indication in the forecast, a storm popped up and changed the ocean forecasted 2’ waves to 4+. Larger boats gave it a shot headed out the inlet only to tuck tail and turn around… Capt Richard knew it wouldn’t be in everyone’s best interest not to beat us up heading out the inlet so we made a plan be to fish the jetties and sea walls... Captain Dustin was a great leader for the three kids I took out with him (ages 7, 9, and 10). Fish weren’t really biting, but we still had a good time reeling in some small ones and one skate. Dustin patiently taught the kids how to properly cast, and entertained them with a lesson on how to operate and steer a boat. A great guy—I would definitely go out with him again!

The week we were in MB, the fishing conditions weren’t ideal, but we had a 15 year old that was super excited to fish. Our captain, Rich, was super flexible and helped us make the best of our circumstances. We ended up fishing inland, and had a great morning. He worked with us to find the best day during our trip, even though it wasn’t the day we originally booked. Our son caught several fish and was happy. This was a great trip for the whole family, we all hooked into fish and had a few keepers to take home.  Capt Rich showed us a few fishing spots, all had a few fish each, and was helpful and knowledgeable.  I would highly recommend this to people that want to have a super cool fishing experience in the calmer backwaters.
