I’ve taken many charter trips by myself and with my wife. This captain ranks at the top for being prompt, congenial, and being prepared. I’ve had a few guides I won’t use again for plain disinterest on their part. Miguel is a Captain I will use again and recommend to friends with no hesitation. We did catch plenty of fish and I know it’s not always going to happen but I do expect effort and that’s what we received. I’m not singing his praises here because we had a good day, I’m letting you know I’ve chartered a lot of guides around the states and this is a very good one. Book with confidence.

Miguel absolutely crushed it for our group. Despite a chilly morning and low water conditions, he stayed focused and positive. We were targeting sheepshead, and while the first couple of spots didn’t produce, Miguel decided to take us farther out than he normally would—and it paid off big time. We landed around 20 sheepshead in just 45 minutes.

He was incredibly friendly and patient with our three boys (ages 5–10), making the trip enjoyable for everyone. I would absolutely recommend fishing with Miguel and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.

Winds were whipping, water was very rough. Captain Miguel made us fully aware of the scenario we faced. Decided to soldier on and Miguel still managed to put us on fish. The whole family caught fish and were glad we didnt fold and go back to town. Not the day we envisioned, but absolutely made the most of the circumstances.
