The Captain of the Lucky Lass was very professional and explained the planned charter. He called me the night before and give me instructions on the meeting place and what to expect for the day. We caught a nice Mahi fish and our kids had a beautiful memory for the rest of their life. we had a great time with Captil Matt. Fishing can always be hit or miss but Matt made sure we hit. caught Marlin and Tuna and watched the sunrise over the ocean. Overall great day!

Checked in with us day prior and answered any questions we had. Left early morning of to try and beat boat traffic good company, good boat, and good views. Checked off multiple things! Each one of us caught a fish, saw some whales, and achieved what we wanted to do! overall a solid trip and a good Charter to try out! We’ll book again.

We took a 5-hr morning trip with Capt Matt and had a blast. Didn’t catch any fish but didn’t stop us from having a good time. Matt was really fun to talk to and had lots of good stories. It’s just been a down year for fishing the North Shore altogether and Matt did everything in his power to put us on some Ono, but we can force the fish to bite. Still a 10/10 trip and absolutely will be booking with Lucky Lass again the next time we’re in Hawaii!

Matt was upfront about the fishing conditions… hit or miss. We caught a handful of baitfish, then we got skunked. Unfortunately it’s a possibility and a big bummer, but you can’t catch a fish from the couch. Smaller boat, seas were a little rough when we went out, would recommend… sucks we didn’t catch anything. Matt and his son were good to deal with.
