Good morning Joseph sorry we had a miss understanding I thought we had a great day you and your group were fun to fish with. I would like to take a few minutes to address your issues as reviews really do matter to me and I try to respond to each one.
1. We disgusted halibut fishing before we left the dock and I explained how my trips work,we pick a species that you want to fish for and after that assuming there is time left in the day and there is not a weather concern we will spend the rest of the day fishing for something else either rock fish or salmon or halibut another words you will get a full day of fishing I don’t charge extra for this and I do not call it a combo or multi species trip as those kind of trips cost considerably more. So before our trip began I told you that there was a weather issue and that the salmon fishing had been better in the morning and asked if you would like to go salmon fishing and I would watch the weather conditions and if the showed improvement we could go halibut fish if you wanted to I did that and I’m my opinion they never did improve enough to go out and you agreed so we spent the day fish and catching salmon.
2. We did not go out of the bay because that was where the weather issue was and the salmon are in the bay which our catch reflected.
3. As far as assisting yourself I asked if you would like me to teach you how to use the gear or if you would prefer that I do that your response was absolutely we are not out to have someone hand us a pole with a fish on it and say reel this in we want a full day of fishing not babysitting . So I showed you how to operate the equipment and let you fish assisting as needed. As for baiting your on hooks we ran artificials on two lines and only bait on one the artificials did all the catching so there really wasn’t much baiting to do but seems like my hands were fishy smelling at the end of the day also. While we we’re fishing and catching fish you did not appear to be disappointed or not having a good time if you were not having fun you should have let me know and we could have solved what ever problem you were having right then.
Even though you were late showing up we spent ten hours on the water consistently catching fish and I thought having fun even after we got back to the dock you appeared to be a satisfied customer and a happy fisherman I wish you would have expressed your concerns face to face where I could resolved the issue in person instead of over the internet most likely if you really felt that disappointed you would have gotten a full refund and we could have done the required paper work and I would have gotten 12 nice big fat fresh silver salmon for my ten hours on the water.
Once again you guys were fun to fish with sorry about the miss understanding.
