From the moment of booking right up to boarding the Captain could not have been more helpful. Took my son out for his first game fishing outing. Had an amazing time, caught 7 fish. Lasting memories made by a super friendly, knowledgable and friendly team.

Would definitely book again!

Bereits der Service mit der Abholung am Hotel war einfach genial.
Danach gleich aufs Boot und ab.
Eine entspannte Fahrt zum Spot und dann ging es von 0 auf 1000 in nur paar Sekunden.
Wir konnten viele Wahoos landen und einen Mahi Mahi. Leider blieb der Traum vom Marlin aus, was aber durch die Professionelle Art & Weise des Teams einfach auch egal ist.
Irgendwann komm ich wieder und dann hol ich Ihn Mir 😅.

In September 2025 we booked four full days fishing in January 2026 with Horizon. When we arrived from Europe to Mauritius Horizon contacted us informing that the first day of fishing would be canceled due to mechanical issues. We replied that we had some extra days of staying at Mauritius and that we could reschedule that day. Horizon replied they were ok with the reschedule. Day two the boat was repaired and we went out fishing. We cought a few small fish. The boat did not make any good impression. Even minor and inexpensive maintenance had not been done. Pillows were soaked with water and debris had not been removed. The second day of fishing we cought a dorado. The trips were made fairly close to the port and the main strategy seemed to follow birds. After the second day of fishing Horizon told us the boat again suffered from mechanical issues and another day of fishing had to be canceled. After a day or two we received the short message via Fishing booker telling remaining two days of fishing had been canceled due to mechanical problem. As we had rescheduled so many times it was a bit unclear what was actually canceled. I sent a message to Horizon asking them to confirm and clarify but I did not receive any reply.
It was messy and other planned activities suffered but we managed to book the two days Horizon canceled with other fishing operators. This turned out to be an interesting experience. Now we could compare under same conditions and same geographical area. We could recognize those operators worked for us in finding advantageous areas even further out on the sea and altering fishing methods. For those efforts were more than happy to pay tips.

Nice fishing trip with two kids. Everything went well from the beginning of the trip to the end. Nicholas and Julien took good care of us and did everything they could to find the active fish. Despite the fact that the conditions were not the best, we still had 4 strikes during the morning. The biggest fishes were missed this time, but we still managed to catch a really nice and rare Spearfish.

Beautiful day with a very professional crew that took us in search for hunting grounds in deep ocean. We didn’t get the big ones but plenty of action with at least 15+ strikes and 9 skipjack tuna landed. Dorade were clearly around and could be seen approaching the jigs, but they were not in the mood. That’s fishing.

Again thanks to the crew who searched and found cluster of activity on the surface by looking out for seagulls assemble (and believe me it’s not easy once you are in the middle of the ocean).

Morning of fishing ended with some nice spotting of dolphins on the way back and a nice BBQ (including the promptly filleted fish from the morning) in a quiet and beautiful spot in Grand Bay.
