Just an awesome fantastic experience hooked into a very large Bluefin Tune—maybe 600lbs—-fought the Tune for 7hrs—finally lost it but what an effort to keep that size of fish on the line for that long lots and lots of credit to Captain Scott and deck hand Ed Thanks guys for such a great day if you want one of the best charters book with Captain Scott

I’ve been out with Ortus Charters multiple times.  They always do a great job of understanding what I expect and then trying to meet those expectations.  We have caught a lot of great striped bass and bluefish.  I love that we’ve used different methods to catch fish from trolling to live bait to casting artificial lures.  The captains are fun, patient and always have safety in mind.  I’ll keep coming back and they are my go to fishing charter when I visit the Cape.

We spent half a day on the water with Scott and had the best time! We tried a few different techniques and caught 15 striped bass and a bluefish. Scott is really friendly and laid-back, knowledgeable about the area and how to fish these waters. The boat was perfect for us. Beautiful day off Provincetown!

We weren’t able to get into the stripers like we did last year but Scott switched up tactics and soon had us reeling in gator blues all morning! Had some close encounters with fin and minke whales as well. All in all another great trip with Scott and Ortus charters!
