In 2020 Captain Jon started Salty Hooker Charters, LLC in Cape Charles, Virginia. He now resides in the Cape Charles area, where he loves the awesome fishing the lower Chesapeake provides!. Fishing in the lower Chesapeake bay out of Cape Charles is rewarding. Depending on the time of year, you'll get a chance to catch different species like Cobia, Striped Bass, Red Drum, Spadefish, Black Drum, Tautog, and more. Salty Hooker Charters will put you on the fish! Your necessary fishing gear, fishing licenses, and fish cleaning will be provided by the charter. Drinking alcohol and smoking are allowed on board.

- Here at Salty Hooker Charters, we really enjoy bottom fishing for Cobia, Redfish and Black Drum. Chunking and chumming while anchored up is the way we get these monsters to bite. Once one is on the hook, you will be in for a fight reeling it in! We also enjoy going after Spadefish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Striped Bass, Sharks, and other fish when they're in season.
