Definitely worth the time and investment. Got multiple of every species we targeted. Boat was comfortable and had plenty of space for everyone to be set up on their own rods. Very knowledgeable and didn’t mind teaching if you asked. Plenty of fish around it’s ok to be picky and try for a bigger fish if you want. Although we were skeptical to take them on an 4-hour fishing trip, our boys (4 and 7) had a great time! Brian is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. Our 7 year old helped catch a king salmon within minutes (pure luck)! When the kids were getting impatient with the fishing waiting game, he took us to a beach to get the wiggles out before returning to fishing. A perfect day on the river, we are truly grateful for the experience!

We love to fish and never get the time BUT on vacation in Alaska, we made the time (unfortunately my grandson didn’t-too early for a 6 year old). We are glad the caption recommended the 4am start as we caught the max allowed by our license and it was COLD out.  We could never get this size of fish where we live and Captain Brian was helpful and did a fantastic job including cleaning the fish.  Could not ask for a better adventure.

Brian was a great captain and did his best to get us a salmon, but we just weren’t lucky in the end. However, we enjoyed hearing about his adventures and the ride down the river with the mountains in the backdrop was gorgeous! We even saw a couple of bald eagles. Brian went above and beyond with his service. We highly recommend this charter!

From start to finish Brian kept us informed on everything that was planned out and everything that we were going to try. He has an impressive knowledge of the outdoors and fishing, and kept a great flow of conversation going. We only caught one fish, but it was still a great experience for my fiance’s first fishing trip. And yes… She was the lucky angler that caught her first fish ever! Can’t thank Brian enough for the experience. If we’re back in the area we would definitely book again!
