I am far from a “frequent fisher”! I am a 72-year-old woman with limited mobility and it was a totally positive experience. I have been on a few charters in the past. I have been coming to St Simon’s Island for 50 years. I have been fishing with many different charters over those years. This is the best charter I have ever experienced. Captain Dave is relentless and his efforts to catch fish! The Boston Whaler is comfortable, clean and well equipped. My granddaughter and I, and a good friend, had the best day ever.!

CPT Dave and his 1st Mate were excellent. A slow paced start with smaller fish allowed for teaching and sharing techniques before going after the monsters. We were able to catch a variety of species and stayed busy reeling! Thank you Double-Down Charters. You gave my family memories that we’ll talk about forever.

Capt David & his crew were awesome! As avid fishermen, they want their customers to catch fish. We were two couples and boy did we catch fish!. On this day, we caught mostly Black Sea Bass, but Red Snapper, Toad fish and grunts were also in the mix. We caught so many fish, we really don’t know how many we reeled in. However, we do know we had a great day and look forward to future trips with Captain David!
