I’m sorry you feel the way you do about your experience, I take pride in my reputation and put alot of effort into every trip to provide the best experience possible, I have over 70 plus 5 star reviews and your review is my first bad one. For the record not sure where you got the idea I must have had a hard night the night before & I actually find that funny since I was in bed by 9:00 pm & up at 4:45 Am. When I am loading things off my truck & getting things set up I am very professional & I want to make sure all is ready before we head out.  I was more than friendly. I’m honestly kind of confused because you guys acted like you we’re having a great time. I am sorry you could not keep some of the fish you caught but they had to be released because they are regulated & are not in season,
It was a tough bite today and all the other captains didn’t catch much either, I’m sorry the fish weren’t biting and I went to numerous spots out of my way on a 4 HOUR trip, and as far as the bait goes I had a wide variety of live baits plenty for SEVERAL charters, when the water gets hot this time of the year some live shrimp will die and appear pinkish they are not cooked, the first fish that you caught was on a trolling reel and the handle only goes one way, once I was aware that you needed a different reel I quickly switched it for you, I have over a dozen reels on the boat at all times, hope y’all have a good day, thanks, Capt Joseph Dewberry

I’m sorry that you happend to go on a day when the fishing was slow, it happens sometimes and all the local Captains struggled to catch keeper species on this day, we did catch a bunch of fish though that were out of season and I gave it my all to try and put fish in the box and at the end of the day that’s all a good Captain can really do.  Capt Joseph Dewberry

Im sorry you feel the way you do about your experience,  the reason we didnt go offshore is because when we started to go out you stated that your son was sensitve and was already starting to get sea sick so i was being nice, and also just to be clear we were gone 2 hours and 35 minutes, i have all 5 star reviews and are one of the the top rated boats on pensacola beach and take great pride in my reputation as a second generation Captain but i guess you cant please everyone? Sorry about the equipment failure but i was being nice and honest person by going in early, most any other captain would of stayed out there and charged you full price!  Thought i was doing a good deed by saving you some money but i guess not, I honestly find this review to be unfair and inacurate, have a great day! I offer a more personalized experience and my boat is by far one of the nicest in the local fleet and has more room than most. I use penn fishing gear and always have at least a dozen reels on the boat. I had a good time with you guys anyways and we caught alot of fish. I hope yiu guys enjoyed all the fish filets!
