Both the captain and first mate know their stuff.  You know you have the right captain when every boat on the water attempts to follow him.  We started near shore for some mahi. Then ran into the beach for a shot at some blues.  Sure, the day and weather were perfect , but this crew took advantage of the fish biting.  It was non-stop reeling.  2 of us (boat can handle more) and we caught 127lbs of mahi, blues, and Spanish mackerel.  100% recommend!

Captain Duke and his First Mate Gavin were very friendly and so professional! This was the best charter I have ever been on. Captain Duke knows where the fish are and Gavin was great managing the lines even when we had three on lines at the same time. We hauled 218 lbs of fish on a half day charter which was amazing. Will definitely charter with them again! Highly recommend!

We had a great time with Capt’n Duke and Gaven today. This is the first time we’ve chartered a boat for fishing in OBX, and we’ll definitely be back in the future. It was a great time fishing with more black sea bass than we could handle. Seeing a sea turtle, shark, and massive pod of dolphins was icing on the cake. The kids and kids at heart all had a great time.

Charter was 10 out of 10 from beginning to the end.Gavin was amazing and on the move the whole time.  Very friendly and knowledgeable.  Captain Duke knows his water and great fishing locations. And he said I did good for a girl since I had never been deep sea fishing before, but I think he was just being polite, because I only caught the cut bait 😉

The ocean was pretty rough the morning we went out, so we decided not to leave the sound. The first mate Gavin was great!  we have two adults and 4 children on this trip and he did great with them. Captain Duke did an awesome job keeping our rods in the water as long as possible everyone caught fish it was a great experience.
