Capt. John was in touch from the original booking. He called the week and day before for organizing and coordinating. They looked at the weather and adjusted our start time for an ideal experience.  We had 2 kids under 7, my parents in their 60s and my husband and I and we all had an awesome time. Wish we would have booked an all day trip with Captain Drew and first mate JP with Dreadknot Sport Fishing. Water was rough and they warned us it would be slow but still caught fish and was over top of them the whole trip.

Our captain, Aaron, is first rate. Friendly, knowledgeable, and concerned for our experience and safety. There were 5 of us and with minimal seating on this particular boat plus choppy seas and that made for a challenging trip. One of our group had a difficult time with sea sickness and we had to head back early. Though disappointing I appreciate Captain Aaron’s concern for my friends safety. It was the right call. I’ve used Pelagic Hunter multiple times and will again.
