Since his arrival in 2003, he has been captivated by the stunning landscapes and abundant marine life that surround these beautiful islands. A passionate lure fishing enthusiast, Roy has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the industry's leading lure manufacturers both locally and internationally. His commitment to mastering the art of fishing drives him to constantly improve his skills and broaden his understanding of different fish species, particularly those that can be targeted using light gear. Among the many reasons he chose to make New Zealand his home is the challenge presented by the mighty kingfish, a species known for pushing anglers to their limits. - If you love fishing as much as I do, you might want to try lure fishing - it's one of my most favorite techniques! Sometimes, I also like to switch things up with live bait, which can be really effective when the situation calls for it.
